Flying Battery Zone
After beating up the Weather Globe, Eggman flees with a very familiar airship, which Sonic hitches a ride on to begin Flying Battery Zone, returning from Sonic 3K, being the eighth level of that game.

Fantastic Flying Fans
These big fans that Sonic & co. float over originate from Sonic 2's Wing Fortress Zone, where they act identically (although you can't abuse invincibility frames to clip through them like you can in WFZ, to my knowledge at least).
